By proceeding with a booking at Urban Beauty, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to this policy in full. If you are booking on behalf of another person, both parties are required to comply.

General Information
Urban Beauty operates as an appointment-priority salon. Online bookings are processed first. If deposit confirmation is delayed, your requested date and time may lose priority.
During treatments, we may be unable to respond to messages immediately. All enquiries are replied to in order as soon as possible.
All bookings are a commitment. The reserved time is exclusively prepared for you.

Deposit Policy
Urban Beauty operates under a mandatory deposit system. Bookings without a deposit are not confirmed.
The deposit is 50% of the total service cost. For services with variable pricing, a fixed deposit amount will be advised at the time of booking confirmation.
Deposits are non-refundable and will be deducted from your total on the day of the appointment. The deposit secures your allocated time and technician exclusively.
Prepay members: The applicable amount will be deducted from your available credit in accordance with this policy.

Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
This policy applies without exception, including illness, traffic delays, or personal circumstances.
Minimum Notice Period

When the required notice period is met, the deposit will be converted to account credit.
Failure to Meet Notice Period
| Within 48/72 hours | Deposit forfeited |
| After business hours the day before, or on the day | Deposit forfeited plus 100% of remaining service balance charged |
| No-show | Deposit forfeited plus 100% of remaining balance charged. Future bookings require full prepayment. |
Repeated no-shows, same-day cancellations, or frequent changes (3 or more): The account will be flagged and all future bookings must be paid in full upfront.

Appointment Amendment
Service changes are not permitted within 48 hours of the appointment. The originally booked service will be charged.
Requests to change services after arrival are subject to the same rule.

Lateness Policy
Arrivals 10 minutes or more past the appointment time may result in automatic cancellation and be treated as a no-show.
If lateness shortens the available treatment time, a shorter alternative service may be offered only if feasible. This is not guaranteed.
Any reduction in service, design, or quality due to lateness is the client's responsibility. No discounts apply.
If no suitable alternative service is available, the appointment will be automatically cancelled.
If you anticipate being late, please call at least 15 minutes in advance on 022 174 9969. Text messages or DMs may not be seen in time.

Text messages and social media messages are not accepted as urgent booking change requests.

Technician Requests & Experience-Based Pricing
If you wish to book with a specific technician, please select them at the time of booking.
If "Any Technician" is selected, you will be allocated an available technician. This allocation may change without prior notice depending on operational requirements.
Pricing, treatment time, and results may vary depending on the technician's level of experience. If no technician is specified, the price will be charged according to the assigned technician's level.
For clarity on pricing or quality differences between technicians, please enquire prior to booking.

Nail Fix Policy
One complimentary fix within 7 days (inclusive) for natural issues only.
Gel retention varies depending on individual hand usage, lifestyle, and personal conditions.
Missed complimentary fix appointments will be charged. Damage caused by client actions (picking, impact, force, etc.) will also be charged.
Cuticle care and reshaping are not included in fixes.
After 14 days, a new set is recommended due to nail health and retention concerns.
For complimentary fix requests, a photo of the nail before removal or damage is required.
