What is the difference between a lash lift and lash extensions?
A lash lift curls and enhances your natural lashes without any artificial additions. Results last 6 to 8 weeks, require minimal maintenance, and you can still wear mascara. It is ideal for a natural look with low upkeep.
Lash extensions involve attaching synthetic lashes to each natural lash individually for a more dramatic, customisable result. They require infills every 2 to 3 weeks and more careful maintenance, including avoiding oil-based products around the eyes.
How do I take care of my lash lift?
For the first 24 to 48 hours, avoid getting your lashes wet, exposing them to steam, or rubbing them. This allows the lift to fully set. After that, treat them like your natural lashes and use a lash serum daily to nourish them and extend the life of your lift.
What is Lash Perfection, and who is it for?
Lash Perfection is designed specifically for downward-facing lashes. It combines a gentle lift with extensions to create a more lifted, defined look from every angle. By setting your natural lashes upward first, the extensions sit better and avoid the droopy effect that can occur when extensions are applied to lashes that naturally grow downward.
What is the difference between Classic, Hybrid, and Volume extensions?
Classic extensions are applied one to one, adding length and definition while maintaining a natural look. Also available as Classic Light for a softer, more minimal result.
Volume extensions use lightweight lash fans applied to each natural lash for a fuller, fluffier, and more dramatic effect. Great for bold looks or enhancing sparse lashes.
Hybrid blends both techniques for a look that sits between Classic and Volume — more texture than Classic, but more natural than full Volume.
What styling upgrades are available?
The following styling upgrades can be added to any lash extension appointment.
How do I take care of my lash extensions?
For the first 24 hours, avoid getting your lashes wet or exposing them to steam so the adhesive can fully cure. After that, gently brush your lashes with a spoolie after washing to keep them aligned. We provide complimentary spoolies during your appointment, just ask.
Avoid oil-based products near the eyes as these can weaken the adhesive. Try to sleep on your back where possible, and do not use mascara or an eyelash curler on your extensions. We recommend daily use of a lash foam cleanser, available at the salon.
How often do I need infills, and what are the conditions?
We recommend booking an infill every 2 to 3 weeks. 3-week infills require at least 40% of extensions remaining and must be booked within 21 days. 2-week infills require at least 50% remaining and must be booked within 14 days. If these conditions are not met, a new set will be required.
What are LED lash extensions, and how are they different?
LED lash extensions use a special adhesive cured instantly with LED light, creating a lighter, more durable bond with less irritation compared to traditional lash glue.
No downtime — no need to keep them dry for 24 to 48 hours.
Oil and water resistant — easier aftercare.
No glue fumes — no teary eyes or burning sensation.
Better retention — lasts 1.5 to 2x longer than regular extensions.
Cyanoacrylate-free — suitable for those sensitive to traditional lash glue.
Hypersensitivity to UV light.
Active eye infections or irritated eyes.
Extremely short natural lashes.
Ongoing eye treatments.
How does brow lamination work?
Brow lamination is a 3-step process. Step 1 breaks down the bonds in each hair, allowing them to change shape. Step 2 remodels the hair into its new position. Step 3 replenishes moisture in both the brows and the surrounding skin. The result is full, lifted, and fluffy brows that last up to 8 weeks.
How do I look after my brows after lamination?
Keep your brows dry for 24 hours after treatment. Avoid makeup and facial cleansers around the brow area for 24 hours, and avoid direct sunlight, sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for 24 hours.
Avoid exfoliating, anti-aging products, Retin-A, AHA, and self-tanning products around the brows for 72 hours before or after treatment. Try not to over-touch the brow area.
Apply a nourishing brow oil daily to restore moisture and maintain the health of your brows throughout the treatment period.
Is brow lamination safe for everyone?
Brow lamination has been developed to suit every hair type. However, it is not recommended for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant, please consult your healthcare provider before booking.
If any stinging or swelling occurs during or after the treatment, apply a cold compress to soothe the area and seek medical attention if needed.
What is the difference between brow tint, brow stain, and brow lightening?
All three are brow colouring services but they work differently and suit different goals.
| What It Is | Skin Stain | Hair Longevity | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tint | A semi-permanent dye that colours both the brow hairs and skin. Adds depth and definition for a fuller, more polished look. | Up to 7 days | 3 to 4 weeks |
| Stain | A hybrid dye made of half henna and half tint. Offers the intensity of henna with the ease of a tint. Gives a bolder, more defined result and lasts longer. | Up to 10 days | Up to 6 weeks |
| Lightening | Gently lifts the natural brow colour by up to 3 shades while nourishing and strengthening the hair. Used to achieve a lighter look or to prep brows before applying a warm or vivid tint. | N/A | 4 to 6 weeks (grows out with natural hair cycle) |
Not sure which is right for you? Feel free to reach out before booking and we can recommend the best option based on your natural brow colour and the result you are going for.
Can I combine brow colour with other brow services?
Yes for most combinations, but not all. Here is a quick reference:
| Combination | Compatible? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Lamination + Tint | Yes | Tint is applied between steps 2 and 3 of lamination, or 24 hours before or after. |
| Lamination + Stain | Yes | Stain is applied between steps 2 and 3 of lamination, or 24 hours before or after. |
| Waxing + Lightening | Yes | Waxing is performed before lightening to minimise skin irritation. |
| Lightening + Tint/Stain | No | Not recommended due to risk of hair breakage, uneven colouring, and skin irritation. |
| Lightening + Lamination | No | These two services are not compatible and should not be combined. |
How do I look after my brows after a colour service?
For all colour services (tint, stain, and lightening): avoid using makeup and facial cleansers around the brow area for 24 hours, and avoid direct sunlight, sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for 24 hours. Try not to rub or over-touch the brow area.
For tint: avoid Retin-A and AHA around the brows for at least 3 days before or after. Avoid self-tanning products on the face for 2 to 3 days before or after treatment.
For stain: avoid exfoliating and anti-aging products for 72 hours before or after. Avoid self-tanning products for 2 to 3 days on either side of the treatment.
Avoiding tweezing between appointments will also help maintain the natural shape of your brows.
How often can I get brow lightening?
The lightening service can be performed twice within 7 days if a lighter result is desired. After that, we recommend a break of 4 to 6 weeks between sessions to allow the hair to recover.
Are brow colour services safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Brow tint, stain, and lamination are not recommended for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before booking any brow colour or lamination service.
